The Reference test block no 1 according to EN ISO 3452-3 serves for the control of the sensitivity to indiation of liquid penetrants.
The test blocks have - depending on the thickness of the NiCr-coating (10, 20, 30 or 50 µm) - different, artifically produced, very fine cracks.

Reference test block type 2 according to 3452-3 is being used for routine assessment of the system performance of both fluorescent and colour contrast penetrant facilities and open containers.

The difference between the state of action compared to the state of delivery will be shown. The test is carried out at the start of each work period.
